Chicago doubles up Lake Erie 6-3. It was a dreadful game for the Monsters as they were out shot 46-18. Matt Ford (5, 6) scored twice for Lake Erie. Mike Carman (4) had the other tally for the Monsters. Ray Macias contributed with two helpers.
Trevor Cann gave up all six goals on 46 shots. Lake Erie was 1-3 on the power play. However, the team had problems staying out of the box giving the Wolves 11 power play opportunities. The game featured a couple of bouts in the first and third periods.
Tulsa blanks Quad City 3-0. Harrison Reed notched his 5th goal of the season on a short-handed tally in the second period. He fired three shots on net and was named the first star of the game. Despite the win, the Oilers are last in the Berry Conference with a record of 4-11-1.
Saskatoon dumps Swift Current 6-2. Stefan Elliott scored his eighth goal of the season for the Blades. He also assisted on a third period tally. Elliott is averaging a point per game. He was named the third star of the game.
Sacred Heart falls to Yale 5-1. Gus Young returned to the lineup after missing time due to a shoulder injury. He assisted on the first goal of the game scored by the Bulldogs. It was his first collegiate point. Yale is currently the highest scoring Division I team in the nation (averaging 5.22 goals per game).
Dinamo R trips up CSKA 5-4. Denis Parshin recorded his seventh goal of the season. He was even for the contest and fired three shots on net for CSKA.
