AHL

Lake Erie tops Grand Rapids 3-1.  The Monsters have won three games in a row.  Luke Walker (2), Ben Walter (6), and Ryan Stoa (2) had the goals for Lake Erie.  Kevin Montgomery contributed with two assists.

Trevor Cann got the start for the Monsters and stopped 32 shots in the game.  It was his first win of the season.  The Monsters were 0-4 with the man advantage.  Cann and Montgomery were named the first and second stars of the game respectively.

Belleville doubles up Peterborough 6-3.  Stephen Silas was plus two for Belleville, but was held off the score sheet.  The Bulls win just their seventh game of the season.  Silas has 10 assists in 24 games.

Mississauga upends Owen Sound 4-2.  Joey Hishon was scoreless in the game for the Attack.  He was on the ice for both Owen Sound goals and was penalized for hooking in the first period.  The Majors would score on the ensuing power play.

WHL

Saskatoon skates by Lethbridge 5-3.  Stefan Elliott assisted on two Blades goals.  He was even for the game.  Elliott has 21 points in 21 games.  Saskatoon improves to 16-5-0-1.

Kamloops falls to Portland 6-4.  Troy Rutkowski recorded two assists for the Winterhawks.  He was plus one for the contest.  Rutkowski has 17 points in 24 games for Portland.  The Winterhawks currently sport the best record in the league at 20-3-0-1. 

Kelowna nips Prince George 2-1 in overtime.  Tyson Barrie assisted on both Rockets goals.  Prince George had the edge in shots 39-28.  Kelowna earns their 12th win of the season.

Everett edges Seattle 3-2.  All three Silvertips goals were scored in the first period.  Calvin Pickard had 30 saves in the loss.  He suffered his fifth loss in regulation this season.

NCAA

CCHA

Michigan trips up Lake Superior 3-2; sweeps two game set.  Luke Moffatt fired two shots on net, but was minus one for the contest.  He skated on the third line for the Wolverines.  Michigan improves to 8-3-3.

WCHA

Minnesota stops Michigan Tech 4-1.  Nate Condon, centering the second line for the Gophers, notched his fourth goal of the season.  He finished with a plus three rating.  Kent Patterson won his sixth game of the season.  He made 30 saves in the contest.

Nebraska-Omaha stuns North Dakota 1-0.  The game winning goal was scored with under a second remaining in regulation.  Brad Malone was held without a shot on net and was on the ice for the game winning tally.
