Milwaukee trips up Lake Erie 3-2. Mike Carman (2) and Justin Mercier (3) had the goals for the Monsters; as they have dropped their second straight game to the Admirals. Chris Mueller burned his former club with two tallies; including a short-handed marker with 1:07 remaining in the contest.
Trevor Cann started the game for the Monsters and made 17 saves in the loss. He has lost both of his starts this year for Lake Erie. RJ Anderson, Chad Anderson, and Randy Rowe were released from their PTOs following the game.
Rapid City nips Tulsa 5-4. Harrison Reed was minus three for the game and failed to record a shot on net. The Oilers fall to 3-7-1.
Sarnia edges Belleville in a shoot-out 3-2. Stephen Silas, who is still looking for his first goal of the season, was plus one for the game. He did not participate in the shoot-out. The Bulls had the edge in shots 35-23.
Kitchener trims Plymouth 3-2. Brandon Maxwell returned to the net after getting the night off on Friday. He stopped 29 Whalers shots en route to his ninth win of the season. The Rangers improve to 14-5.
Owen Sound comes back to beat Windsor 4-3. Joey Hishon led the comeback with his 12th goal of the season. He also assisted on the game tying goal for the Attack. Despite playing in just 11 games, Hishon is now among the top 20 scorers in the OHL.
Portland thumps Prince Albert 8-2. Troy Rutkowski had a couple of helpers for the Winterhawks. Portland has won 11 of their last 12 games. Rutkowski was plus one for the contest. Portland improves to 17-3-0-1.
Kamloops blanks Kelowna 4-0. The Blazers had a 35-22 shot advantage. Tyson Barrie was even for the contest. The Rockets fall to 10-10.
Notre Dame falls to Michigan 5-3. Luke Moffatt assisted on three of the Wolverines tallies. He fired one shot on net and finished plus one for the game. The Wolverines improve to 6-3-3.
Boston University comes back to tie Merrimack 3-3. Kieran Millan had another strong game in net for the Terriers stopping 35 shots. His record stands at 4-0-4.
Vermont upends Boston College 5-3. Paul Carey did not record a point, but fired six shots on net; which led all Eagles skaters. He finished with an even rating. BC drops to 6-4-0.
North Dakota doubles up Wisconsin 4-2. Brad Malone was held to one shot on net and was even for the game. He centered the top line for the Fighting Sioux. North Dakota improves to 7-4-1.
