Friday Scoreboard


Milwaukee blanks Lake Erie 4-0.  The Monsters were held to 21 shots on net.  Jason Bacashihua made 23 saves in the loss.  He suffered his fourth loss in regulation this season.  The two clubs will meet up again on Saturday afternoon.

Tulsa tops Colorado in a shoot-out 4-3.  Harrison Reed had two shots on net and a minus one rating during regulation.  He did not convert on his shoot-out opportunity.  The Oilers won the shoot-out 2-1.  


Owen Sound comes back to beat Guelph in overtime 4-3.  The Attack scored three goals with under three minutes remaining in regulation to force overtime.  Joey Hishon assisted on two of those tallies and also had the lone assist on the game winning goal.  

Belleville edges Oshawa 2-1 in overtime.  Defenseman Stephen Silas was plus two for the game.  The Bulls only had 23 shots on goal.  Belleville earned their sixth win of the season.


Seattle trips up Regina 5-4.  The Thunderbirds scored three times in the third period.  Calvin Pickard made 38 saves to secure his 9th win of the season.  He has started all 18 games for Seattle.

Portland falls to Saskatoon 4-3.  Troy Rutkowski recored his third goal of the season.  It was a power play tally scored in the third period.  He finished even for the game.  Stefan Elliott assisted on a first period power play goal scored by the Blades.  He had a plus one rating for the contest.  Portland's 10 game winning streak comes to an end.

Kelowna skates by Prince George 4-1.  Tyson Barrie had a couple of helpers on two second period Rockets goals.  He finished with a plus three rating and was named the second star of the game.  Barrie has 16 points in 13 games.



Notre Dame upends Michigan 3-1.  Luke Moffatt was minus one for the game and launched a single shot on net.  The Wolverines were 0-2 on the power play.  Michigan falls to 5-3-3.

Hockey East

Merrimack and Boston University skate to a 1-1 tie.  Kieran Millan made 35 saves and was named the first star of the game.  Both teams combined were 0-17 on the power play.  

Boston College nips Vermont 3-2.  Boston College had an edge in shots 42-40.  Paul Carey had the secondary assist on a second period power play goal scored by the Eagles.  Carey fired three shots on net.  BC improves to 6-3-0.


North Dakota shuts down Wisconsin 1-0.  North Dakota out shot Wisconsin 25-16.  Brad Malone fired two shots on net and was even for the game.
